YARD SALE FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS!

At BSVPA, we are proud to have recently organized a community yard sale to support the widows of slain police officers in Haiti. The event was a resounding success, with a huge turnout from local residents who were eager to support this important cause.

The idea for the fundraiser came about when our team heard about the tragic loss of several police officers in Haiti during the early days of 2023. We knew we had to do something to support the families they left behind, and a yard sale seemed like the perfect opportunity to raise funds and awareness to the current situation in Haiti.

The team worked tirelessly to gather donations from family/friends and were overwhelmed by the generosity of our community. We received everything from furniture and household items to clothing and electronics, all of which we sold at incredibly low prices to encourage maximum participation.

We also made sure to promote the event through various channels, including flyers, word of mouth, and social media. The response was incredible, with a lot of people coming out to shop. In the end, BSVPA was able to raise one thousand and two dollars ($1,002). This money will go a long way in helping these families during their time of need, and we are honored to have played a part in supporting them.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of the individuals who donated items for the sale, as well as to everyone who came out to shop and showed their support. We couldn't have done it without you, and we hope that this event has inspired others in our community to take action and support important causes like this one.

Moving forward, we are committed to continuing our efforts to support the widows of slain police officers in Haiti. We believe that by working together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
